Area of Fragments of C.da Cugno-Casa Tulumello
Not far from the necropolis of c.da Cicuta, in a dominant position towards the Cugno Lungo, at an altitude of 579 m above sea level, we find an area of scattered ceramic fragments according to a low density of concentration. The area is annexed to a holiday home and is cultivated as a vegetable garden. Among the fragments of the modern era it was possible to distinguish some fragments of the rim of an achromatic impasto pot, fragments of the walls of amphorae, and some fragments of African terra firma not better identifiable. The results, although not very illuminating, fall marginally within the chronological and cultural horizon seen for the areas of nearby fragments (cards n.47,48,49). We can think that the smallness of the findings may be due to the superficial working of the soil, which has brought out only the most superficial materials.
