Mustolito Equipped Area

The area is located inside a Eucalyptus and Pini wood, in the locality of Mustolito, in the Municipality of Casteltermini, and extends over 5 hectares. With a total of 180 seats, it contains 15 rustic tables, as many fire points, drinking fountains, bowling green, two bathrooms, one of which for the disabled, a small house for the keeper's office, entrance gate and ample parking.
A small open-air chapel has recently been completed. The area can be reached along the SP Casteltermini-S.Biagio Platani, about two km away. from Casteltermini.

The information on the equipped state-owned areas has as its main source the website of the Regional Forestry Department of Sicily (continuously updated) to which is added a very interesting brochure entitled "The State Equipped Areas in Sicily" of the same department published in 1999 with the Editorial Coordination of the 8th Group - Promotion, Development and Research, editors Agostino Gatto and Valeria Restuccia.
