Zingaro Uzzo state-owned equipped area
Similarly to the equipped area of Capreria, near the entrance to the RNO dello Zingaro, on the San Vito Lo Capo side, another equipped area was created to allow the many visitors to the Reserve a moment of rest and healthy coolness. Wooden benches and tables, water points, fire points and a covered roof are the essential receptivity of this area built along the main path of the Reserve, immediately after the forest shelter in the Uzzo district, above the beach of the same name. After a swim in the blue sea of the Zingaro or after a pleasant excursion in one of the paths of the protected area, the equipped area is an almost obligatory stop that allows you to savor the scents of the Reserve and the goodness of the environment that composes it.

Note on Sources
The information on the equipped state-owned areas has as its main source the Internet site of the Regional Forestry Department of Sicily (constantly updated) to which is added a very interesting brochure entitled "The State Equipped Areas in Sicily" of the same department published in 1999 with the Editorial Coordination of the 8th Group - Promotion, Development and Research, editors Agostino Gatto and Valeria Restuccia. Further information was obtained from direct access to the areas and from interviews with experts and operators in the sector.
