Savochello state-owned equipped area

In the wooded area of ​​Monte Cammarrata called Demanio Ledera, a large equipped area has been created, which has become a must for school trips and for hikers in general. This is a beautiful forest of conifers planted around the 50s, which, having fulfilled the role of soil preparation, are gradually giving way to broad-leaved trees and to downy oaks in particular.

In this context and due to the peculiarity of the place, an area has been created to allow a respectable rustic holiday. Along the road that leads from S. Stefano Quisquina to Cammarata, about 8 km from the first town, a green forest gate and specific signs indicate that we are in a state-owned area. Taking the only road that climbs towards the top of the mountain at about 2 Km. You can see the first benches and the first tables and gradually others, both on the right and on the left, well integrated into the environmental context and made both in wood and using the local stone.
