Equipped state area Santa Maria - Lascari

From the town of Lascari, a town 15 Km. From Cefalù and 20 Km. From Termini Imerese, follow the signs that lead to the Rapputi district. Taking a road that starts in the inhabited center of the village of Lascari, after a couple of slightly uphill hairpin bends, before the last houses on the right, under a eucalyptus you can see the rustic wooden benches and tables. We arrived at the equipped area. Tables, benches, cooking points, a fountain, a swing and an open space that can also be used as a bowling green, are the infrastructures of the area, actually in the process of being set up.
The proximity to the town, which makes it similar to a public garden, has made this area a must for school walks and as an area of ​​recreation and play for children.
Located on a slight slope, made easy by the formation of steps, where the above-mentioned structures are arranged, it is possible to enjoy the green landscape of the area composed of citrus, olive trees and higher up by the continuity of the forest which in addition to eucalyptus includes deciduous trees and pines Mediterranean.
In the sandy soil of the equipped area a note of color is given by the dense rosettes of the violet-colored Mandrake flowers and by the white inflorescences of Uriginea marittima.
For nature lovers, and not only for outdoor holidays, we suggest an excursion in the direction of Gratteri, where along the provincial road it is possible to observe the vegetational succession composed now of cork oak, now of downy oaks and again of pines and grazing lands, each having its own charm.
