San Giovanni Gualberto State Equipped Area

From the Municipality of Bronte, follow the direction of the Municipality of Maniace, pass in front of the "Nelson Castle" at the first crossroads, take the direction of La Piana, continue towards the sawmill, meet the Regia Trazzera Bronte Floresta, access to the equipped area it is pedestrian only, and is about 12 km from Nelson Castle.
The equipped area is located at 1200m above sea level. The vegetation consists of mixed forest with a prevalence of Turkey oak, extremely rich from the point of view of biodiversity. The area allows you to get to know a forest ecosystem characterized by a high degree of naturalness.
The area includes 10 tables complete with benches, presence of a fountain for water, barbecue, outdoor parking area, base point for possible excursions also by mountain bike
