Costa Domini state-owned equipped area
Traveling along the SS 115 to Sciacca, at the junction for Montallegro, the forest state property called Costa Domini appears.About 250 seats, located on an area of 5 hectares, with 20 rustic tables, barbecues, scattered fountains, bathrooms also for the disabled, bowling green. Here are the characteristics of this equipped area, which rises 270 meters above sea level, with a splendid view of the Agrigento coast and the village of Montallegro, which we recommend a visit. The area is also very popular due to the presence of some significant stone nature trails, with protective fences in the shade of adult pines and cypresses. To reach the area, we therefore suggest starting from Montallegro, following the road that leaves the town for two kilometers, and following the indications on the signs.

Note on Sources
The information on the equipped state-owned areas has as its main source the website of the Regional Forestry Department of Sicily (continuously updated) to which is added a very interesting brochure entitled "The State Equipped Areas in Sicily" of the same department published in 1999 with the Editorial Coordination of the 8th Group - Promotion, Development and Research, editors Agostino Gatto and Valeria Restuccia. Further information was obtained from direct access to the areas and from interviews with experts and operators in the sector.
