Presence of a sanctuary connected to the cult of Demeter or of the chthonic divinities; discovery of a treasure trove of silver coins from the Greek era; large caves dug into the rock for cultic use in some of which votive niches, thysiai, cisterns, wells have been built, one of which has returned a large amount of clay material ranging from the Greek-Archaic to the Byzantine age
